挂失[ guà shī ]

⒈ 到发证机关登记遗失票证的号码公开声明作废。例办好了挂失手续。英report the loss of (identity papers,cheques,etc.); report the loss of some bill or document;

⒈ 遗失票据或证件，到原发单位登记，声明作废。

引《解放日报》1987.12.27：“时隔三天， 高葆军 发觉本保管的一迭空白支票中的第三张已被撕去，便向科长汇报，随即前往区工商银行挂失。”
